FEB ’26

Wow, its been so long since I’ve written – partly due to being busy but also just being slack.

Only 2 days after my last post we had a random storm that dumped 50mm of rain. Which meant that Skull Creek (the creek that runs alongside town) flowed again. Wow that was something beautiful to behold.

Lots of kids were out playing and I had some fun too!

Red dirt turned mud from all the rain. It was good to see. I find a lot of rain out here is unpredicted. From one moment to another the weather has a mind of its own.

Bougainvillea has to be the most resilient plant. There is heaps around town and I love sitting in the front year admiring the colours.

Of course who would forget the blood moon – unfortunately the lights around the hospital obstructed my photo a little.

From the naked eye, it was far better out Sturt Pea Drive as there was no light pollution. The photo doesn’t do it justice.

That wraps up February and it was about time that I head to Kal to get some grocery shopping and see some civilisation….
