While I have some motivation I will continue with another post.
The beginning of March set 1 month since moving to Laverton so I made a trip to Kalgoorlie for groceries and a dose of socialisation (needed for this social butterfly).
Woke at 5am for an early morning run and got to see a lovely sunrise

Some other things to note in Kal – got to catch up with a nursing friend, go to church and even play some social volleyball (how I miss volley), which was a blessing and a way to fill my soul.
As monday morning dawn broke I head to the shops for 3 hours of grocery shopping – a month worth of food!

All packed in the back of the prado ready for the 4 hour trip home – lovely 43 degree today.
Might I say I eat very well in Laverton, probably my favourite pass time is cooking and baking. Insert below some mouthwatering meals:

Another way to pass time when I am not at work is by volunteering with St Johns, so I had some training and got to drive the big green van, whooo.

We also had the big drop in temperatures I’ve ever seen. 43 degrees one day and the next was 19!

Went out for a brisk walk – basking in the cooler weather.

Another way to pass the time is marathon training. Running 3 times per week and getting some gym sessions in has been great, including setting a new 1/2 marathon PB!

And lastly, a photo of the best drug known to man – caffeine. What would I do without my morning coffee….I made this concoction that I will label ” the autumnal” maple syrup, a dash of vanilla, double espresso and a dusting of cinnamon. Mmmmm delicious.
Next on the calendar was a trip to Perth for my graduation…
