life continues with normal … I am loving the slow life in Laverton, however, my mind has turned towards my next rotation in Kalgoorlie which begins in August. I am trying to soak up all the time I can have here in Laverton. So here’s a little bit of life lately….
Refuelling after an ambo job, a trip about an hour north on the Great Central Road to collect a patient.

Continuing with my bible in a month. It was certainly an accomplishment with finishing in 33 days but in some way happy I don’t have to read 90-120min a day. I now just get to spend time meditating on scripture

Love golden hour and the views in Laverton, will certainly miss seeing for endless kms.

A beautiful red sunrise warranted a quick trip up to the lookout before work.

Sourdough journey still in progress..

Took a little trip up to Windarra mine site which has beautiful views over the Wongatha lands. Enjoyed a cup of tea and soaked up the serenity.

Life is full of mundane moments like washing, however, autumn sunshine is perfect for fresh linen.

A few RFDS transfers for our patients recent which is always cool to see the plane come in and hand over care of the patient to get further care.

Lastly, I recently pulled out this beautiful teacup from a box I still haven’t fully unpacked. A cup of coffee in a teacup is just bliss….

Enjoying the mundane moments has been my focus this month – the first sip of coffee in the morning, just staring out to the vast horizon, the smell of fresh linen, and enjoying the culinary experience. Its all part of being grateful to God for all the blessings of life. How blessed am I to live in this beautiful country and to have breath in my lungs each day.
All glory be to God.
Bye for now,
Jos
